ABOUT RICHTER COLLEGE PREP & TUTORING

Meredith (Merry) Richter has been tutoring since 2012. Starting out as a volunteer SAT tutor and college prep coach for Let's Get Ready (LGR) in Boston, MA, Merry has always made it her mission to help her students gain the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in their classes, college process, and life. Following her time with LGR, Merry spent five years as a math and SAT tutor for a company based outside of Boston, while also teaching math and working in the college guidance office at an independent school in Newton, MA. Merry now works as a middle school counselor in Vermont, using her time outside of school to continue helping students thrive.

Merry has a firm belief that students are worth more than their grades, test scores, and transcripts; so, she takes it upon herself not only to help these students achieve their academic goals but also to help them achieve their personal goals.

Merry believes that one of the most important factors to successful tutoring is the relationship, so she always makes an effort to get to know each of her students on a personal level.
